DETER BOLT® is an innovative fastening application for solar and photovoltaic panels.
DETER BOLT® has been created as an effective solution to the illegal removal of panels, while ensuring the possibility to perform their regular maintenance by removing and reusing the same screw.

FASTENING SYSTEM
DETER BOLT® is a fastening system for photovoltaic and solar panels based on the use of special wrenches for fastening and unfastening, that significantly reduces installation times, with related cost savings, and produces no additional costs for maintenance or replacement of the panels.
DETER BOLT® has been recognized, after the necessary tests, as a real deterrent and anty-theft system against the illegal removal of panels by Insurance Companies.

THE WRENCH
The importance and effectiveness of the DETER BOLT® system is given by the use of special wrenches for fastening and unfastening.
The DETER BOLT® system proposes 3 different wrench systems that are usable only with their screws:
• DETER BOLT® FREE‘s wrench is not coded nor labeled for a very flexible use.
• DETER BOLT® CLASSIC‘s wrench is coded with a reserved serial number and issued on loan for use.
• DETER BOLT® EXCLUSIVE‘s wrench is designed only to work with its screw, ensuring the uniqueness of its use.
The illegal copying of the wrenches requires large investments, because if not produced with high quality materials, with clearly defined technical specifications and a perfectly identical shape it wont be able to unfasten.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
DETER BOLT® CLASSIC‘s wrenches are produced with a 50CrV4 material tempered to a specific hardness.
DETER BOLT® FREE‘s wrenches are produced with a 38NCD4 material tempered to specific hardness.
All DETER BOLT® ‘s wrenches have a ZINTEK 200 surface coating, to protect them against oxidation that can be caused by atmospheric agents.
[This surface treatment is completely free from hexavalent chromium and complies with CE regulations, it eliminates the problem of hydrogen embrittlement and has a resistance to corrosion tests in a salt mist chamber of 480 hours]
THE SCREW
DETER BOLT®‘s screw is characterized by a spherical head with a helical shape, patented by Cagnasso s.r.l., with special carvings that do not allow any kind of loosening tool to unfasten it, if not its specific wrench.
DETER BOLT®‘s screw is inserted easily into any omega or zeta bracket: the circumference of the system does not exceed 13mm and has a standard M8 diameter with different lengths.
DETER BOLT® EXCLUSIVE‘s screw head can also be marked with the logo or the name of the company/owner.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
DETER BOLT®‘s screws are manufactured in stainless steel AISI 304 Austenitic Cu according to UNI EN ISO 3506-1, resistant to oxidation and processed by cold forming.
DETER BOLT®‘s screws have a M8 standard size and have all lengths between 20 mm and 50 mm (with 5 mm differentiation) with a fully threaded stem.
DETER BOLT®‘s screws they can be made, upon specific customer request, in a special range with shorter lengths (mm.14, mm.16, mm.18) with fully threaded stem or with longer lengths (from mm. 55 to mm.100 with differentiation of 5 mm.) with a partially threaded shaft and a thread length of mm.40.
